Until I put up this blog, I had no idea what blogspam was. Now, I get 15-20 "comments" posted each week to items on this blog. Usually, they're a list porn sites or sites for erectile disfunction. (I guess you use the latter if the former doesn't help.)
Thanks to the good people at Akismet, I don't have to do much about it. But this is yet one more thing that pollutes the e-world.
Microsoft has released beta 2 of Windows Defender, the successor to Microsoft AntiSpyware (beta 1). It installed well on my machine, although I removed MS AntiSpyware first. Happily, neither the removal nor installation required a reboot.
Now, I've got a problem. Windows Defender will not update itself. It fails with an error 0x8024402c. Buzzing around through Microsoft's site, it seems that this error is related to Windows Update.
